Step 1. Admit it.
This was not part of the meal/workout plan. This will not help get you to your goals.
(Note: we said admit it, not beat yourself up about it.)
But it's not the end of the world...
Step 2. Get over it.
We all know bulimia isn't healthy, so you're not going to throw up that cheese burger.
And the day's already over, so you can't go to the gym yesterday.
Step 3. Get back on.
None of this "I'll start fresh on Monday" crap.
Start NOW. Not the next day, the next minute and the next meal.
If you've screwed up your diet: don't ruin the whole day by continuing to eat crap; eat properly for your next meal so you can get your macros in and don't make a bad situation worse.
If you've screwed up your workout: If you binged on an unplanned greasy brunch, make sure you get an afternoon/evening workout in. Even if it's a 15 minute HIIT workout from home. Anything is better than nothing. If it's late at night and the tub of ice cream or the bag of chips got the better of you, make sure you incorporate an extra set/cardio/HIIT for the next morning's workout. Better late than never.
It's as easy as that. So when it happens, perform steps 1 to 3. If it happens again, repeat. And as many times as necessary. Don't let it derail you from your plan or get in the way of reaching your goals. It happens to everyone. Like life, no plan will work out perfectly. So its how you react and bounce back that will count. If you need help, BE.AM Fitness is here with fitness and nutrition plans.
