Reasons to date a fit girl

While some might say the "perfect girl" does not exist, we're here to persuade you that fit girls are pretty damn close.
And while there are hundreds of reasons to date a fit girl, we're sharing our top 5 (which really encompass a bunch of sub-reasons).

Disclaimer: don't worry boys, we'll do a whole other blog post for you and the reasons to date a fit guy)

1. Confidence is key
We’ve all been told confidence is the most attractive quality a women can have and there’s a reason: it’s true. And anyone who’s ever embarked into fitness can tell you there’s an immediate positive correlation between fitness and confidence. So in dating your new fit bae, say hello to the parks of confidence:
  • Being able to take a compliment
  • Being able to hold her own when meeting your friends
  • Reduced ‘getting ready time’ cause she can most likely throw on most items in her wardrobe and not worry about whether or not it looks good (she knows it does)
  • Thereby, you never have to answer the question “does this make me look fat?”
  • Sex with the lights on. Need we say more?

2. The ease of dating.
Dating a fit chick is easy. Need a date idea? Gym. Need a gift idea? Workout clothes. What to talk about? Your new PR. Asking what do you want to eat? EVERYTHING. Piece of cake. (mmm cake).

3. Challenges and competition where it counts.
Fit chicks may also come with a side of competition, and it may come to your benefit. Who doesn’t want someone to challenge them, especially in your workouts? That’s usually what we pay trainers thousands of dollars for. It can mean challenging you to hit your macros every day or seeing who can finish a WOD in the fastest time. Either way, a girl who doesn’t shy away from competition is more likely to help you grow as a man (and not just as muscle mass).

4. An independent woman.

For the men who don’t know, if fitness breeds confidence, confidence breeds independence. And we’re not just talking 'Beyoncé finger snap' but a natural way that’ll show you the she’s the coolest.
  • You won’t need to carry her luggage or groceries, because her biceps show she can do it herself (though men you should always still offer, and ladies you should still always appreciate the gesture).
  • She’ll have her own group of friends from her MetCon class, so she won’t be an unwanted guest on guys night.
  • And you won’t miss out on your COD updates, because you can be gaming while she’s at the gym.

5. The benefits of endorphins.
If your girl is constantly killing it in the gym, you can be guaranteed she’s less likely to off on you about random shit. Thus dating a fit girl could mean less nagging, higher energy, and reduced stress. Plus when she has a big test coming up, you can suggest she go de-stress at the gym (and be seen as a helpful problem solver).
